Theresa Saunders

Milford – On October 19, 2021, Theresa Saunders peacefully passed away at Delaware Hospice while surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on November 22, 1933, in New York, NY to the late Josef and Mary Gantner.

Theresa graduated from Walton High School in New York.

After high school she worked at J.P. Morgan bank as a book keeper.

She loved jigsaw, crossword, word search puzzles, and baking cookies at Christmas. She will be missed by all.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 67 years Godfrey Saunders. She is also survived by her son Jeffrey Saunders and his wife Leslie, her daughter, Laurel Pastor, her grandchildren, Megan and Michael Pastor, and Godfrey and Valance Saunders, and her sister, Betty Ann Manfredonia and her husband Abraham.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 10AM to 12PM on Wednesday 10/27, with a funeral service at 12 noon.

Burial is at Millsboro Veterans Cemetery.
