Ronald Boulais

Ronald Milton Boulais, 73, of Milford, DE (formerly of Cheshire, CT) passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katina. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.

Ron was born March 10th, 1948 in Providence, RI, the son of the late Milton A. and Gertrude M Boulais.

Ron was raised in North Providence, RI, before settling in Cheshire, CT. He graduated in 1966 from La Salle Academy in Providence RI, and received a BS in Sociology from Rhode Island College in 1970, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Kappa fraternity. He worked most of his career for the Hartford Insurance Company and as an independent business owner in various industries.

A resident of Cheshire for 30 years, he enjoyed traveling and especially loved spending time in Alma, New Brunswick, Canada. He loved music, was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, and enjoyed cars (old and new). After retiring to Delaware, he enjoyed spending time with family and working on home improvement projects.

Ron will sadly be missed by his children; Ryan (Allison) Boulais, Kirsten Schultz, Edward C. (JoEllen) Schultz, his grandchildren; Andrew and Lillian Boulais, Edward D. (Lana) Schultz, Chelsea (Anthony) Pagano, Austen (Jessica) Schultz; his great-grandchildren, Audrey and Evelyn Schultz, Linda and Raymond Pagano, Landen and Kaiden Schultz; his brother-in-law, Michael (Alexandria) Casey; nephews, Cameron (Cassandra) Casey, Colin Casey; great niece and nephew, Elaine and Paul Casey; numerous dear cousins and friends; his beloved fur baby, Molly, and his grand-dogs.

Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 S. Main Street, Cheshire, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Hillside Cemetery, 166 Wallingford Rd, Cheshire, CT.
