Robert Kirby, Jr.

Milford - On February 15, 2023 Robert J. Kirby peacefully passed away at his home.

He was born on June 13, 1944 in Bainbridge, MD and was a lifelong resident of Milford.

Mr. Kirby graduated from Milford High School in 1962. He attended N.E. Louisiana State University studying Chemistry.

Robert worked as a machine operator at the DuPont Nylon Plant for over 40 years.

Mr. Kirby enjoyed skiing, playing trivia at Grotto's, and hanging out with his friend, Richard Petty.

He is survived by his sister, Susan K. Mitchell, his nephews, Michael Mitchell and his wife Jane, and Mark Mitchell and his wife Tammy, and his great nephews, Matthew and Mason Mitchell.

The family will receive visitors at Roger's Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 10AM to 11AM on Wednesday 2/22 with a funeral service at 11AM.

Interment Milford Community Cemetery.
