Richard Anthony

August 14, 1930 — July 20, 2021

Richard A. Anthony- Born a poor boy from the Bronx, Baptized a Christian, he was focused on giving love and adoration to his Heavenly Father, his son Jesus our Savior and the Holy Spirit within him.

Richard was devoted and dedicated to his loving family and greatest and most blessed Country on Earth; America the Beautiful. He proudly volunteered his service to the U.S. National Guard. Serving as a wartime commission officer in the United States Marine Corps / U.S.M.C. and as a Captain USAF reserve A.F liaison officer for A/F Academy.

Growing up in the Bronx, Richard attended Theodore Roosevelt High School.

He also furthered his education at Stevens Institute of Technology for a Master’s Degree. Richard then attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey for his Bachelors of Science Degree.

Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy A. Anthony. He is survived by his sister Janet Pagano, his sons Richard C. Anthony and his wife Nancy, Douglas H. Anthony and his wife Livia, Daughter Joyce M. Anthony, grandchildren Daniel Anthony, Lauren N. Contey, Alexandra Eccleston, Nicolette T. Anthony and Kyle J. Anthony and great grandkids Vincent J. Contey and Dominick R. Contey.
