Lincoln – On September 11, 2021, Ralph L. Currie peacefully passed away. He was born on November 3, 1948 in Milford, DE to the late Donald and Anna Mae Currie

Ralph graduated with the Class of ’67 at Milford High School, and played the spoons with a group of friends and classmates in a small band.

After High School Ralph honorably served our country in the Coast Guard from 1967 to 1971.

He retired as a painter at Milford Memorial Hospital.

Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt. His friends would often find him working in his yard, tending to his garden or sitting in his chair by the garage watching the squirrels play. He was very good with dogs and trained many for his friends.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Lee Davis-Rose (Wes), his brother William “Billy” Currie (Delores), his nieces, Teresa Fisher, Renee Pommell, Lori Sharp (Al), Vonnie Plump (Mike), Cheryl Stidham(Mark), Alison Cooper (John), nephew Carl Davis (Dana) and great nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Currie.

Services and burial are at Henlopen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
