Eugene Laguardia, Jr.

On June 11, 2022, Eugene J. LaGuardia, Jr., peacefully passed away while surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 20, 1952 in Jersey City, N.J. to the late Eugene and Mary LaGuardia.

Formerly from Manahawkin and Lodi, NJ, he moved to Delaware in 2014 where he has lived since.

He worked for the Port Authority train system of NY and NJ (P.A.T.H) for 32 years where he was a supervisor.

Eugene liked classic cars and the occasional drag race. He enjoyed working with his hands and could fix or build anything. However, his favorite past time was being with his family and friends.

Mr. LaGuardia is survived by his wife of 35 years, Amy LaGuardia, his sons, Eugene LaGuardia , III and his wife Mary Lee, and Timothy LaGuardia and his wife Sarah, his daughter, Diana Kountouris and her husband Marc, his grandchildren, Ava Lynn and Aria LaGuardia, Garett and Justin Schwatka, and Sierra and Kennedy LaGuardia, and his brother, Anthony LaGuardia.

A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, at 7PM on Friday 6/17, with visitation starting at 6PM.
