Milford - Elizabeth H. Shea passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022, at her home in Milford, Delaware. Elizabeth was born in Milford on May 24, 1924, the only daughter of Roscoe and Reba Hitch.

After graduating from Milford High in 1943, she was a Clerk for the City of Milford, member of the Hospital Auxiliary working in the gift shop and lobby sales, and a volunteer in the Milford Museum. She was a fan of Baseball and Nascar racing and a member of the Milford Harrington Senior Centers. She was also a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church, serving on Elders, Trustees, Deacons and Women’s Association.

Beside her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband, Alfred J. Shea in 1995, and four brothers, Richard, Clayton, Parker, Marvin and Ward, as well as a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Shea on December 23, 2017.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law. Michael J. Shea and Kathy, of Millsboro and Gary D. Shea, of Milford. Two grandchildren, Tommy Clendaniel, of Milford, and Ami Rae Clendaniel, of Lincoln, great-grandson, Quinn and great grand-daughter, Marley.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Towanda and the ladies who aided in all of the personal care and attention that was required for their mother during this time.

Burial will be in the family plot in Lincoln. Services will be held privately.
