Debra A. Giardina- On April 25th, 2023, Debra A. Giardina, peacefully passed away. She is the daughter to the late James and Dolores (nee Lohn) Gugliette.

Born on May 8, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the youngest of five. As a child, she would spend her time roller-skating with her sister Karen. She graduated from Poly Western in Baltimore. After graduating, Deb worked at Rouse and Company for many years, where she was able to take her family on vacations to the beach.

Debbie also loved to listen to music, her favorite band was The Beetles. Over the years, our family would get together at her sisters’ house and party. And when I say party, I mean party! Deb loved to have a good time and her laugh was something else, you could hear it for miles. She would always make the best deviled eggs. Those who knew her well would often say she lived by her own set of rules. She often spoke her mind to whomever would or wouldn’t listen. She was a force to be reckon with, for sure. Deb also had a kind heart, she would do anything for you, all you would have to do was ask.

Deb loved to take photos. Every sporting event or party, you could bet she would have had a camera in hand. Her love of photography landed her a job a Vista Photography, where she worked for many years. She even helped her niece get a job there.

Her best memories are of her children and grandchildren. She loved them dearly. Deb wished she was able to spend more time with them all including her great-grandchild.

Deb is survived by her children, Angelina Giardina, Joseph Giardina, and Julie Giardina. Her sisters, Diane Ward, Paula and her husband Tom Sandidge, Karen Bennett and brother James and his wife Sharon Gugliette. Debs grandchildren, Lexi Giardina, Zack Caves, Sloane Giunta, Ashlyn Giardina, and Cayden Brooks. Niece, Carrie Hovatter and her husband Matt. Nephews, Vincent Cassino and his wife Chrissy, Jimmy Gugliette and his wife Leigh, Jason Gugliette, Jon Gugliette, T.J. Sandidge and his wife Michelle.
