Milford – On January 10, 2022, Deborah Lynn Klein Ammon, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
She was born on January 15, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edwin and May Klein.
Deborah knew that she wanted to help people and attended the Germantown Dispensary and Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1972.
She worked as a Nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and was a member of the Operating Room Nurses Association.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and watching British comedies.
Mrs. Ammon is survived by her son, Christopher Ammon, her daughter, Daria Ammon, her grandchildren, David J. Jordan, Thomas M. Jordan, Ashlyn E. Jordan, and Emily G. Ammon, her brothers, Kurt Klein and Carl Klein, and her sister, Sandra Friefeld.
She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Ammon, her brother, Eric C. Klein, and her sister, Deborah “Buffy” Baxendale.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford from 11 to 12 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 870 Forest St. Dover, DE 19904.
