Dale Herron

Milford - On March 1, 2022, Dale Marie Herron, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

She was born on November 20, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to the late John and Martha Higgins.

Dale was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School, class of 1959.

She worked as a Secretary for Woodmont Country Club and at N.I.H., but her most important job was taking care of and raising her family.

Mrs. Herron was a member of the Milford Garden Club and the Milford Senior Center.

She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, playing the piano and singing, and was a very talented artist.

Dale is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Herron. She is also survived by her daughters, Christine Herron, Patricia Lynch, and Joyce Brager and her husband Joseph, five grandchildren, and her sister, Terry Higgins.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 11AM to 12:30PM on Saturday 3/12. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM on Saturday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment will be at a later date.
