Billy Callahan

Milford - Billy B. Callahan, 83, passed away on May 24, 2023, suddenly at home.

Bill was born in Kermit, WV, to Roy Lee and Edith Clay Callahan on May 4, 1940. He graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, DC, and attended South Dakota School of Mines and University of Maryland. Mr. Callahan served four years in the United States Air Force at Ellsworth AFB, SD. After 23 years, he retired from Nabisco as a Divisional Sales Manager. He later worked in the Public Relations Office of the University of Delaware, and then as a realtor at Lewes Realty.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Roy, his mother, Edith, and his brothers, John, Larry and Michael Callahan.

Bill's family was always the focus of his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Callahan; his children, Shawn Callahan and his wife Dianna, Pamela Dejneka and her husband Matthew, and Clay Callahan; his grandchildren, Conor Callahan, Jessica Dejneka, Zachary Dejneka, Jon Callahan, Samantha Callahan and Abigail Dejneka; and his brother, Harry Callahan.

A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, on Saturday 6/3 at 11AM. Friends and family may gather starting at 10AM.
