On March 17, 2026, after an ongoing illness, William “Bill” Drumheller, peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He was 57.
Bill was born in Darby, PA on May 15, 1968, to the late Ray and Naomi Drumheller.
He graduated from Milford High School in 1986 and then attended Randolph – Macon College in Ashland, VA, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
Bill worked at the Radio Shack in Milford until it closed in 2017, and then worked at Ashley Furniture in Dover until the present.
He was a member of Avenue United Methodist Church. His extended church family is Carey’s Church in Millsboro. They prayed for him daily through his declining health journey.
Bill loved the Philadelphia Eagles and was a history buff.
Mr. Drumheller is survived by his sister, Rae Smith and her husband Scott, his nephews, Josh Bailey and his wife Kate, Ryan Smith and his wife Kassie, and Chris Bailey and his wife Patty, his great nieces and nephews, Nathan Bailey, Austin Bailey, Blaire Bailey, and Caroline Smith, his beloved dog, Spot, and many of his friends from Radio Shack and Ashley Furniture.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles William Drumheller.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home on Friday March 20th from 6PM to 8PM and Saturday March 21st from 9AM to 10AM, with a funeral service at 10AM.
Interment will be Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA.
Flowers may be sent or donations given to Carey’s Church, c/o Josephine Dorey, 22750 Carey’s Camp Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.
