Lincoln – On January 23, 2022, Wendy Anne Vossberg, passed away peacefully at home at the young age of 48 after a tough battle with Lupus.
Wendy was born on January 11, 1974, in Woonsocket, RI to Henry and Rachel Tardanico. She graduated from Woonsocket High School and attended Rhode Island College.
Wendy then honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1993 to 1998, where she was stationed at Dover AFB as a C-5 Crew Chief. She was also employed as a courier for the State of Delaware and for the city of Dover.
Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and listening to music. In her spare time, she loved boating, fishing, and crabbing. Wendy also had passion for rescuing and caring for animals with Boyd.
Wendy is survived by her daughter, Jordan Vossberg, her son, Brady Vossberg and her longtime companion, Boyd Lord. She is also survived by her parents, Henry and Rachel Tardanico, her brother Scott Tardanico, her sisters, Nicole Lefort and her husband Robert, and Erika Coleman and her husband Blair, and 7 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963, from 11AM to 1PM on Monday January 31, with a funeral service at 1PM.
Cremation to follow.
