Vivian Marie Lewis
FREDERICA - passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 81.
She was born on September 19, 1934 in Cumberland, Maryland, daughter of the late Edward Blair Peer and Evelyn Marie Farris Peer.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis, Jr. and two sisters, Hester VanMeter and Eloise Ravenscroft.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Peters and her husband Buck of Greenspring, WV; two sons, Michael Lewis and his wife Teresa of Frederica, and William Lewis and his wife Patricia of Camden; a sister, Reta Robey of Oldtown, MD; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren in Delaware, and eight nieces and six nephews in Oldtown and Cumberland.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, Delaware. Interment will follow the services in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to The Alzheimer's Association of Delaware, P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE, 19947.
