Trevor J. Egan, Sr.

On August 9th, 2026, after a short battle with cancer, Trevor J. Egan, Sr. peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He was 76.

Trevor was born in Youngsville, N.Y. on June 12, 1950, to the late John and Jean Egan.

He graduated from J.Y.C.S. High School in Jeffersonville, N. Y. in 1968.

Mr. Egan honorably served our country in both the Army and the Air Force. He joined the Army after high school in 1969 and retired from the Air Force in 2008. While in the Air Force he moved to Delaware and decided to retire here.

After the Air Force, Trevor delivered pizzas for Dominos Pizza for Milford and the surrounding areas.

He loved to go fishing and hunting, and enjoyed woodworking and reading.

Mr. Egan is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Melinda Egan. He is also survived by his children, Tanya Egan and T.J. Egan, his sisters, Tina Haszard, Elizabeth Huggler and her husband Ralph, and Jennifer Berglas and her husband Kenny, his brother in law, Charles Larimore and his wife Renee, and many nieces and nephews.

Trevor was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Ann Egan, his parents, John and Jean Egan, his brothers, John, Frank, and Kelly Egan, and his sisters, Bridgette Lounsbury and Pamela Ann Egan.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 10AM to 12PM on Monday August 17th, with a funeral service at 12 noon.
