Shirley Mills Welch

On February 5, 2024, Shirley Mills Welch, peacefully went home to be with the Lord. She was 98.

Shirley was born on June 27, 1925 in Milford, DE to the late Elwood and Minnie Mills.

She graduated from the Cedar Neck School House in 1943.

Mrs. Welch worked as a Secretary around Milford for many years.

She was a member of Avenue United Methodist Church.

Shirley enjoyed playing cards, big band music, and swing dancing.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Hayden and her husband John, her grandchildren, Richard Beckman and his wife Michelle, Max Robichaud and his wife Pamela, and Devon her husband Jermey Lister, and her great grandchildren, Noah and Grace Beckman, Max Robichaud, III, Austin Robichaud, Taylor Robichaud, Dallas Rhodes, and Layla Messick.

A memorial service will be held at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, at 12 noon on Friday 2/16, with visitation starting at 11AM.

Interment is private.
