Robert D. Young

On January 6th, 2026, Robert “Bob” D. Young, peacefully passed away at Christiana Hospital. He was 71.

Bob was born in Milford, Delaware on July 8th, 1954 to the late Robert L. Young and Barbara Young.

He graduated from Milford High School in 1972.

Bob started his own trucking service, “Bob Young’s Trucking”, and was the owner and operator for many years, which he loved and was very passionate about. He also worked for Willard Argi-Service, out of Greenwood, DE, for more than 20 years.

He was a member of the Milford Moose Lodge where he enjoyed shooting pool with his friends.

He enjoyed collecting antique tractors and antique chainsaws, and watching Nascar; especially Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty.

Bob is survived by his mother, Barbara Young, his daughter, Jennifer Warrington and her husband Fred, his grandchildren, Brie Hagen and her fiance, Allen, Cohen Hagen and his partner, Judy, and Madison Harmon, his great granddaughter, Magnolia Hagen, his sisters, Kathy Young and Susan Savage, and his nieces, Amy Rucinski and Laura Savage. Bob is also survived by many friends and neighbors, whom he loved and cared for.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 1pm at the Milford Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation to the Milford Moose Lodge.
