Robert Morgan, Sr.

September 10, 1946 — February 13, 2018

Milford – On February 13, 2018, Robert L. Morgan, Sr., passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center.

Mr. Morgan was born on September 10, 1946, in Northeast, MD, to Mervin and Irene Morgan.

He graduated from Northeast High School in 1964.

Robert honorably served our country in the Army National Guard and was activated during the riots in the 60s.

Mr. Morgan worked as a offset lithographor for Temple Inland, was head of the IT department for the state police, and was the owner and operator of the Morgan Sign Co.

He was an avid bowler, and loved rebuilding classic British cars.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pegeen Morgan. He is also survived by his daughter, Tracey VanRees and her husband Dirk, his grandchildren, Lauren Benbow and her husband Bob, Ashley Willmann and her husband Jared, and Alyson, Patrick, and Nicholas Morgan, his daughter in law, Kristin Morgan, and his sisters, Janet Sue Moore, and Cindy Morgan Johnson.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Robert Morgan, Jr.

The family will have a gathering and celebration of Robert’s life at Rookery N. (formerly Shawnee Country Club)  in Milford on Feb. 24th at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
