Richard M. Tribbitt

MARYDEL - Richard M. Tribbitt passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 19, 2015.  He was 63.

Richard was born on February 5, 1951 in Milford, son of the late Leon Edgar Tribbitt and Aileen (Wolter) Tribbitt Domke Morris.

He graduated from Milford High School as President of the Class of 1969.  Rick furthered his education at the University of Delaware, graduating in 1974 and attended Boston University from 1976-1978 where he graduated number one in his class and earned his Masters degree in Physical Therapy.

Rick, along with his wife Vicky, also a Physical Therapist, started a private out-patient Physical Therapy office in 1983 in Millersburg, Pennsylvania which over the past 31 years has grown with the help of many dedicated coworkers into a practice including 25 out-patient offices and various contracted services.  He was devoted to the success of his practice and the contentment of his staff being described by a fellow coworker as "an amazing person, mentor, planner and friend."

In his downtime, Rick enjoyed shooting sporting clays and working on projects on the farm property surrounding his home in Marydel.  He was also a steady presence in the lives of his nieces and nephews and will remain an inspiration to them all.

He was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Rick is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicky L. Tribbitt; two brothers, William L. Tribbitt of Milford, and Steven W. Tribbitt of Harrisburg, PA; a sister, Deborah "Debbie" O'Brien and her husband Steve of Hartly; a brother-in-law, John Geraldi and his wife Mary Anne of West Chester, PA; and several special nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
