HOUSTON - Ralph L. Jump, Jr. passed away at home on April 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph L. Jump, Sr. and Myra W.
Jump; his sister, Mary Hollis; and a great-grandson, Jonathan L. Jump, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley Patricia (Elliott) Jump, five children; Christine Melton (Owen "Bud"), Susan Stup (Jerry), James Jump (Debbie), Ginger McDaniel (William "Chip"), and Jonathan Jump (Karen), twelve grandchildren; Scott, Melissa, Katie, Ashley, Adam, Holly, Brian, Brandon, Emily, Sarah, Jimmy, and Michelle, eight great-grandchildren; Winter, Bria, Shea, Garrett, Layna, Elijah, Sophia, and Gianna.
A memorial service to celebrate Ralph's life, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Sam Yoder Farm, 86 Hunting Quarter Road, Houston. A reception where the family will greet friends will follow the memorial service until 5:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
