Mary E. Braham
Of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of Milford, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, in Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was 87.
Mary was born on February 27, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Trigg M. and Jessie (Bradford) Clower.
Mrs. Braham was employed for many years in the accounting department for Braunstein, Inc., a retail clothing company in Wilmington, retiring from her position in 1978.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Braham in 2006, two sons; Timothy W. Braham and Henry A. Beardsley, Jr. and a grandson, Brian H. Beardsley.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Richard Goodman of Dagsboro; three step-daughters, Lisa Carlin of Camp Hill, PA; Linda Arter of Medina, OH and Penny Colson of Grove City, PA; six grandchildren; Jennifer Fraccaroli, Jann Seiter, Jason Goodman, Tammie Locklear, Leigh Anne Arter and Calvin Arter and three great grandchildren; Keaton Goodman, Wilder Goodman and Andrew Seiter.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, 1001 Kings Hwy, Lewes.
Interment will be held privately at Gracelawn Memorial Park in New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church, 1001 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE, 19957 or to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 123, Dover, DE, 19903.
