Margaret A. Shatesky
MILFORD - Margaret A. Shatesky passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 67.
Margaret was born on February 19, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late John and Margaret Smolle Kozlowsky.
She was a private home health aid for 15 years before retiring in 1991.
Mrs. Shatesky enjoyed writing poetry and above all else she loved God and was devoted to her faith.
She was a member of the Multicultural Community Church in Milford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Shatesky, Sr. in 1999, and a brother, John Kozlowsky.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph R. Shatesky, Jr. of Chestertown, MD, and John F. Shatesky of Dover; a daughter, Mary Shatesky of Queens, NY; two brothers, Charles Kozlowsky, and Stephen Kozlowsky, both of Virginia; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Multicultural Community Church, 105 NE Front St, Milford.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Multicultural Community Church, 105 NE Front St, Milford, DE, 19963.
