Margaret F. Davis
Age 94, of Milford, Delaware, passed away at home Sunday, September 23, 2012, surrounded by her family.
Margaret was born on January 30, 1918, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward A. and Emily C.W. (McClellan) Martin.
She was employed as a sales clerk for many years with the Carousel Children's Clothing Store in Glens Falls, New York, retiring in 1975.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Milford Senior Center and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Milford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Davis, Jr. in 1998, a sister, Gladys Aganier and a brother, Howard Martin.
She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Davis Thompson and her husband Thomas of Southold, NY; Paula Davis- Nestor and her husband Jim of Chestertown, NY; and Priscilla Davis of Camden, DE; a granddaughter, Victoria Greene; a sister-in-law, Betty Cosey and her children Kathy, Barbara and Robert, Jr.; and was the beloved aunt of Beverly Burdo and her husband Ronald; Gail Potter and her husband Noel; Wayne Martin, and Bruce Martin.
A memorial service will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
The family has requested memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice Care, 1016 N. Walnut St, Milford, DE, 19963.
