MILFORD - Magdalena Gorski passed away at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood on Sunday, January 24, 2016.  She was 91.

She was born in Old Bethpage, NY, on December 22, 1924, daughter of the late Stephen and Katherine (Regula) Wodzenski.

Mrs. Gorski was employed with Grumman Food Service in Bethpage for 17 years before retiring in 1985 to become a full time homemaker.

Magdalena enjoyed reading and was active in her local community as a member of the Milford Garden Club, the Flower Club at Shawnee Country Club, the Milford New Century Club, and was a member and past treasurer of the Shawnee Home Owners Association.  She was also a member of St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Gorski, and three brothers, Joseph Wodzenski, Edmond Wodzenski, and Frank Wodzenski.

Magdalena is survived by her two sons, Michael S. Gorski of Milford, and James F. Gorski of Farmingdale, NY; a sister, Florence Harvey of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Vincent Wodzenski of Saugerties, NY; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave, Milford.

Burial will follow the services in Sharon Hills Cemetery, 2928 Sharon Hill Rd, Dover.
