Myron "Mack" C. Warren
Of Milford, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 89.
Mack was born on March 1, 1923 in Milford, son of the late Raymond and Ida (Calhoun) Warren.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during World War II.
Mr. Warren owned and operated Warren Furniture in Milford, the business his father started in 1918. He never retired and remained active in the store's operation until his death.
He loved the game of bridge enjoying every opportunity he had to play.
Mack was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milford, serving as a Deacon and was a board member of the former Milford Building and Loan Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Warren in 2004.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; Scott R. and Vicki Warren of Richmond, VA and Brett C. Warren of Lincoln; a daughter, Kitt W. Zang of Earleville, MD; and two grandchildren, William S. Warren and his wife Mackinze and Samuel R. Warren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 S. Walnut St, Milford.
Burial will be held privately.
