Kim B. Robbins

Age 60, of Frederica, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

After graduating from Delaware Technical and Community College, Kim was employed by Milford Memorial Hospital as a lab tech from 1971 - 1988 and from 1988 - 1996 as the Director of Patient accounts. From 1996 - 2004, she was a computer consultant and enjoyed traveling around the states to her many assignments, she always said it was a great way to see the states. In 2004, Kim decided to settle closer to home and took a position at Shore Hospital in Easton, giving her more time to be with her growing family. In 2006 she began her battle with Cancer and at this time she was no longer able to work, but fought a tough fight with the support of her family and friends.

Kim was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She enjoyed being with family and friends, shopping for her grandchildren and going to the casino and playing the slot machines.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jeff Robbins; two sons, Brian Robbins and his wife Bonnie and Michael Robbins and his wife Jennifer; three granddaughters, Parker, Chloe and Ashley Robbins; one step-grandson, Connor McNamire; her father, Harry C. Brown; her mother, Janet K. Brown; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sally Carnright and Sue and Genie Smith; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Polly Robbins; her nephews and nieces; Jeff Carnright and family, Matt and Ryan Smith, Tammy Agiular and family and Randy Robbins and family.

Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.

Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE, 19720.
