Kevin William Cord

Kevin William Cord, of Willards, MD, known for his kind, caring, and humorous personality, left us on September 14, 2024.

He was born August 5, 1965, in Prince George’s County, MD to Henry William Cord and Barbara Ann Cord Nagy.

He graduated from Laurel High School in Laurel, MD and spent his career as a flooring installer.

He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Redskins fan, attending many football games as well as yearly baseball games with his daughter. He found great pleasure in spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Brooke Logan Cord, his mother Barbara Nagy (Andrew “Sonny”), his father Henry Cord (Elizabeth), his siblings; Kathleen Cord, Kimberly Cord Wilson, Matthew Nagy (Beth), Alex Cord, Chandler Cord, Henry Michael, Landon Cord, William Cord, and Amanda Cord. His nieces and nephews; Elio Battisti, Michael Battisti (Krystal), Kristen Stalcup, John Michael Rosemond The Second, Shawn Rosemond, and Shelby Rosemond. As well as many great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Karen Ann Cord Rosemond (John Rosemond), and his grandparents; James and Betty Karas, and Robert and Mary Cord.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE on Friday 9/20 from 10AM to 12PM, followed by the funeral service at 12 noon.

Interment is Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
