Kathryn Elizabeth Zettlemoyer
MILFORD - Kathryn E. Zettlemoyer passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at her son's home in Camden where she had been residing. She was 94.
Kathryn was born on April 28, 1921 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Walter and Katie (Zimmerman) Hammaker.
Mrs. Zettlemoyer retired in 1980 from the Hershey Chocolate Factory after 22 years with the company.
She and her husband, Robert, relocated to Milford in 1984 from Port Royal, Pennsylvania.
Kathryn enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and was an excellent cook. She also loved animals and bird watching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Daniel Zettlemoyer, Sr. in 2007, five brothers, and four sisters.
Kathryn is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert D., Jr. and Paulette Zettlemoyer of Lincoln, Michigan, and Walter Jacob and Cecelia Zettlemoyer of Camden; a daughter and son-in-law, Patty Ann and Charles "Jake" Hoffman of Townsend; a sister, Thelma Lucille Kohr of Palmyra, Pa; seven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Rd, Grantville, PA, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will follow the services in the Willow Grove Cemetery, Linglestown, PA.
