June Joseph Grier
Age 84, of Milford, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Milford Center.
June was born on April 15, 1928 in Rehoboth Beach, daughter of the late Roy and Augusta Mae (Webb) Joseph.
She was a full time homemaker who also enjoyed sewing and needle work.
Mrs. Grier was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milford where she had been active in many church activities over the years. She was also a member of the Milford Century Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul E. Lynch in 1967 and a granddaughter, Jaime Rollings.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, William W. "Bill" Grier; two daughters, Mary Lynn Lynch Rollings and her husband William of Surry, VA; and Judy Lynch Emory and her husband Patrick of Milford; five grandchildren; Melissa Keckler and her husband Jason, Michelle Keckler and her husband Brian, Joseph Rollings, Hunter Emory and Janna Emory and four great-grandchildren; Peyton Keckler, Dawson Keckler, Tanner Keckler and Drake Keckler.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 172, Milford, DE, 19963.
