Jose D. Alvarado

On November 21, 2024, Jose D. Alvarado, after a courageous battle with cancer and with his family by his side, peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He was 55.

Mr. Alvarado was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on March 28, 1969 to the late Matias and Maria Alvarado.

Jose worked as a MEC 1 at Baltimore Air Coil up until recently. Prior to that he worked at Clariant in Milford.

He was a parishioner of St. John’s the Apostle and was in the Emmaus Ministry.

Mr. Alvarado liked watching cooking shows, sports, and boxing. He enjoyed cruising around and working on cars.

Jose is survived by his wife of 32 years, Minerva Morado. He is also survived by his children, Jose and Loree Alvarado, and his siblings, Agapito Alvarado, Osvaldo Alvarado, Maria Alvarado, Maria Rivas, Emilio Alvarado, and Norma Alvarado.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford from 10AM to 12PM on Tuesday 11/26, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1PM at St. John’s the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford.

Interment is Milford Community Cemetery.
