James Roland Bennett
FREDERICA - James Roland Bennett passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 61.
James was born in Wilmington on September 11, 1953, son of Nancy J. (Day) Bennett and the late Richard J. Bennett.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Bennett's work history was devoted to the two trades he enjoyed most, that of a mechanic and commercial fisherman.
He is survived by his two children, Jaime Renae Bennett and Joseph Bennett; a grandson, Aiden Michael McClain; two brothers, Richard Bennett and wife Dusty, and Claude Bennett; two sisters, Nancy High and husband Clifford, and Jo Alice Casapulla; and many nieces, nephews and friends. All will dearly miss him.
Services and burial will be held privately.
