Jack L. VanGorder
CAMDEN - Jack L. VanGorder died on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood.
Jack was born in Binghamton, New York on July 6, 1940, son of the late Albert John and Edith (Andrews) VanGorder.
He was employed over the years in the kitchens of various restaurants.
Jack loved to read and write poetry, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
He is survived by five sisters and three brothers; Albert VanGorder (Sue) of Fitzgerald, GA; Connie Condron of Dover; Carole Cathell (Bill) of Parksley, VA; Beverly Fannin of Milford; Robert VanGorder (Joan) of Milford; Sandra Dixon of Siler City, NC; Ronald VanGorder of McLean, VA; and Susan Snyder of Farmington.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow the service in the St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
