Irene Somy
Of Frederica, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Delaware Hospice, Milford. She was 92.
Born August 10, 1921, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Veronica Duvak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Somy, Sr. and son, Joseph Somy, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Susie and Spike Adams, Renie and Bob Larkin, and Judi and Tim Krause; grandchildren, Zac Adams, Veronica and Rob Rogers, Erin and Steve Pieshala, and Hilary and Don Prouse; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Vilma Hasson.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on a future date.
