Gavin Alexander Webb, 20, of Milford, Delaware, passed away on July 31, 2026, surrounded by close friends and family.

Gavin had a quiet way about him when you first met him, but it never took long for that quietness to give way to the bright, funny, warm person underneath. He had a natural way with people and an ability to connect with just about anyone. Gavin was the kind of person who would lend a hand simply because someone needed one. Helping people was simply part of who he was.

Gavin loved gardening, fishing, and working on cars and motorcycles. Putting motors on bicycles eventually turned into motorcycles, and from there grew his love for riding. Riding brought him a sense of freedom and a brotherhood with the Free Riders Independent MC. Gavin was just beginning his journey as a member of the club when his ride was cut far too short.

Gavin worked for Kyle at Bright Diamond Irrigation, where he enjoyed being outside and working with his hands. Along the way, he learned a lot from Kyle, who became a great mentor and friend.

Gavin leaves behind his mom, Rebecca Watkins, who was one of his biggest supporters throughout his life; his younger brother, Graham Watkins, with whom he was beginning a new chapter in their relationship as they got older; and his girlfriend, Hannah Cole, who held a very special place in his life.

He also leaves behind his close group of friends, Anthony, Zeke, Josh, Timmy, John, Dalton, and James. As Gavin got older, Logan, Justin, and Kevin became a big part of his life. They were uncle and cousins by relation, but their roles in Gavin’s life went beyond that, becoming father figures, brothers, mentors, and friends along the way. Gavin also leaves behind many other friends and family who knew him, loved him, and will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jill McWilliams; his great-grandmother, Barbara Austin; and his great-grandfather, Henry O’Neil.

Twenty years was nowhere near enough time, especially for someone who was just getting started. Gavin had so much ahead of him, but in the time he had, he made an impact on more people than he probably ever realized. He will be remembered for his quiet nature that never stayed quiet for long, his willingness to help, and the friendships he made.

There are so many things Gavin should still be here for, and so many more memories that should have been made. Those who knew and loved him will carry the ones they already have with them and make sure Gavin is never forgotten.
