Garey Lynn Morris

Garey Lynn Morris, age 68 of Felton, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Garey was born in Dover, DE on March 13, 1956 to Priscilla Morris and her late husband Billy J. Morris, and grew up in Felton, DE. He graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1975. Garey enjoyed his career as a Heavy Machinery Mechanic and Shop Leader, enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and was passionate about his cars and motorcycles.  He honorably served our country in the Army National Guard and was called to active duty during Desert Storm.

Garey is survived by his sons, Kyle Morris and his wife Heather, Brandon Morris and his wife Victoria, and Cory Morris, his mother, Priscilla Morris, his grandson, Grayson Morris, his brother, Terry Morris and his wife Nancy, and his sister, Sherry Moore and her husband Charlie, and an extended Garey family.

A memorial service will be held at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, at 12 noon on Saturday 4/27, with visitation starting at 10AM.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Delaware Hospice.
