FREDERICA - Earlene W. Morris II, "Sis" suddenly departed this life on June 24, 2015 at her home in Frederica.

Earlene was born on November 11, 1974 in Milford, the youngest of four children.

She was well known in her community and was loved by everyone who knew her.  She was most known for her place in the family business, Morris' Market (est. 1901) in Frederica, where she worked along side her brother Jim for most of her life.  Earlene was known for her wonderful smile, sweet spirit, and wanted everyone around her to be as happy and joyful as she was.

Earlene especially loved nature and traveling to the mountains and beach, her favorite place being Marco Island in Florida.  She loved her dog Coco and spending time with her favorite people of all, her older brothers.

Earlene graduated from the Lake Forest High School and was proud of her most recent accomplishment, her graduation from Polytech Adult Education with a certification in medical coding.  She has been a long standing member of the Milford Church of God, where she loved to volunteer her time in the nursery.

Earlene is survived by and will be deeply missed by her brothers, Michael Morris and his wife Kathy of Dover; David Morris and his wife Sherrie of Milford; James (Jim) Morris of Frederica; nieces, Jennifer Montgomery, Jennifer Miller, and Holly Dunlap; nephew, Brent Montgomery; and many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Earlene Morris of Frederica.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow the services in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
