Harrington - On December 13, 2022, Dorothy B. Dill peacefully passed away at Bayhealth in Milford.

She was born in Wilmington on December 25, 1935, to the late Harry and Dorothy Blunt.

Dorothy graduated from Wilmington High School. She worked as a Telephone Operator at DuPont Chemical Company while she attended the Delaware School of Nursing. Mrs. Dill then worked as a Nurse at Wilmington General Hospital. She finished her career as a CNA home health nurse.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 7. Dorothy enjoyed playing the slots, dancing, and helping her late husband set up and run events for the Tall Cedars of Lebanon when he was the Grand Tall Cedar. She also, enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dill was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Dill, Jr., her daughter, Kimberly Harding, her Sons, Walter, Howard and Jerry Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Robin Wood, Dorothy Cahall, and Edward H. Dill, Linda Leyanna, Jane Johnson, Ronicca Teagle, and John Johnson, her siblings, Paul Blunt, Sandra Blunt, Barbara Sipriano, and Ruthann McCafferty, eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday 12/20 with a funeral service at 12pm.

Interment at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
