Donna Jean Jackson
MILFORD - Donna Jackson passed away at her home and went to be with God on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was 56.
Donna was born in North Augusta, SC, on December 23, 1960, daughter of Mabel Gassaway and the late Nick Gassaway of Seaford.
She graduated from Seaford High School in 1978 and Wilmington College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Donna was employed as a registered nurse with the State of Delaware in the Department of Health and Human Services.
She enjoyed fishing and especially loved the patio parties after a day of golfing with her husband and many friends.
Donna is survived by her husband, Eddie Jackson; her mother, Mabel Gassaway; two stepsons, Scott and Colin Jackson; her brother, Mike Gassaway and wife Valerie and their sons, Nick and Casey.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Rookery North at Shawnee, 6152 S. Rehoboth Blvd, Milford. Friends are invited to stay following the service for food and fellowship with the family in celebration of Donna's life.
