David H. Dickerson
Of Lincoln, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was 58.
David was born on October 17, 1954 in Lewes, son of the late Ronald H. and Shirley (Kelso) Dickerson.
He was employed for many years as a clerk with numerous book stores in the area before accepting a job as a clerk with Super Fresh in Milford where he worked for three years before the store's recent closing.
David was an avid reader and also enjoyed collecting books.
He is survived by five brothers, Jeffrey W. Dickerson of McAllen, TX; Timothy R. Dickerson of Milford; Donald S. Dickerson and Gregory L. Dickerson, both of Lincoln; and Alan B. Dickerson of Dover; his godson, Josh Fowler; one aunt, one uncle, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 in the Lincoln Cemetery, Clendaniel Pond Rd, Lincoln.
Burial will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Milford Public Library, 11 S.E. Front St, Milford, DE, 19963.
