On May 12, 2025, Carol J. Farley, peacefully went home to be with the Lord. She was 80.

Carol was born on June 20, 1944 in Johnstown, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Boron.

She graduated from Bishop McCort High School in 1962 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1966.

Carol was a founder of the Alpha Kappi Pi sorority at the Johnstown College of the University of Pittsburgh. Her official title was Pledge Mistress.

She was very talented at knitting, crocheting, and quilt making. Carol liked to work in the garden, and enjoyed baking and cooking. She worked hard at being the best mother for her family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 58 years, David Farley. She is also survived by her five sons; Michael Farley, Brian Farley and his wife Kris, Daniel Farley, Timothy Farley and his wife Kathreen, and Peter Farley and his wife Catherine, and her five grandchildren; Colin, Gwyneth, Adrian, Gaberial, and Sebastian Farley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Joseph and Donald Boron, and her sister Dorothy Boron.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford on Tuesday May 20th at 1PM.
