Carol E. Brothers
MILFORD - Carol E. Brothers passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 80.
She was born in Revere, MA, on February 16, 1937, daughter of the late Ralph V. and Josephine (Urbanilk) Brothers.
Carol was employed as a home health aide with the Nursing Association of Greater Lynn in Lynn, MA, retiring in 1999. She was also a private driving instructor for several years in Revere.
She became a Delaware resident in 2000 when she moved from Massachusetts to live with her sister, Viola, in Milford. Her favorite pastimes were playing bingo, going to the slots, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Brothers, and two sisters, Dorothy Spence and Viola Johnson.
She is survived by two nephews, Dennis Spence and David Brothers; four nieces, Virginia Dawson, Michelle Austin, Deidre Brothers, and Diane Duchland; and a great niece, Debra Collins.
Services and burial will be held privately.
