On July 4, 2026, Ann Miller peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

Ann was born in Dublin, Ireland, on December 19, 1939, to the late Patrick and Catherine (Blanchfield) McDonnell.

She met her late husband while he was stationed in England for the U.S. Air Force. They retired to Delaware in 1986.

Ann was a devoted member of St. John’s the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid knitter.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Miller, her daughter-in-law, Deborah Miller, her granddaughter, Rachael Bennett, and her brothers, Anthony (Tony), George, Leo, Eugene, and Robert McDonnell.

Ann is survived by her children, Paul Miller and his wife Maureen, Rosemarie Bennett and her husband Randy, Mark Miller, Patrick Miller and his wife Linda, Carol Clark and her husband Wayne, and John Miller and his wife Meg, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her brother, Rory McDonnell and his wife Leslie, her sister, Etna Winks, and her brother Noel McDonnell.

The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday July 15th.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 16th at St. John’s the Apostle, 505 Seabury Ave, Milford, followed by interment at Millsboro Veteran’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donation in her name may be made to Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
