Alfred George Uebele

BRIDGEVILLE - Alfred G. Uebele died suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, August 4, 2016.   He was 79.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 2, 1937, son of the late William and Katherine (Schumacher) Uebele.

Mr. Uebele was a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserve.

He was employed as an electronic engineering technician with BAE in Greenlawn, New York for 40 years, retiring from his position in 2006.

Over the years, Alfred enjoyed traveling to many destinations worldwide and loved the ocean.  His greatest joy in life was spending quality time and celebrating special occasions with his family.

Alfred is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo-Ann Uebele; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Rick Caputo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Beth Uebele, and Steven and Erin Uebele; and his grandchildren, Courtney and Ryan Caputo, Hannah Uebele, and Victoria, Ashlee, Nicholas, Violet and Jade Uebele.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the funeral home, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow the services in the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113.
