On October 7, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Joseph Siok. They moved to Milford and together, they raised 5 children. Leslie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Leslie was never idle and took pleasure in her work and play. She was employed by Milford Memorial Hospital as a switchboard operator before opening her own business, The Silhouette Spa, a women's health and fitness facility which she proudly ran for many years. She later accepted a position at Wharton & Barnard as an Administrative Assistant. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and camping in their motor home with their grandchildren and visiting relatives as she researched her family’s genealogy.
Leslie was very creative and enjoyed making crafts of all types including tole painting, sewing, crocheting, and creating gourmet meals for her family’s dinners. She was famous for her Christmas fruitcake!
